It&#8221;s a busy year my girlfriend and I both have family graduating. We our going to a celebration for her family this week and then my family next week. We also had my old accompanist graduate to become a music teacher. Those kids, they keep getting older.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday May 20th we celebrate Pentecost. For Christians this is when God gave the Holy Spirit to the church. The amazing thing is today all Christians have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives within us and helps us on our journey of faith. That is an amazing gift. The Holy Spirit guides us on our journey and allows us to access the power of God in our lives. But it was not always that way. In the Old Testament most believers did not have the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 But when the Spirit did take possession it was much more forceful. We are going to look at a few examples of the Spirit working in the Old Testament this week.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for the comments and questions.
