The man would not follow Jesus advice because he was very rich. He could not give up his money and status.

She sought help from an unjust judge. Though the judge did not want to help her, he did so because she kept coming to him.

They ran out of olive oil for the lamps. They went to purchase more but when they returned it was too late.
