Wednesday March 1, 2017 is Ash Wednesday, marking the start of Lent for many Christians. My church does not formally recognize Lent but having a Lutheran upbringing I do like the spiritual discipline of it. So for the next few weeks we are going to discuss Lenten themes. This weeks topic is preparation. As Christians we live our lives to prepare to meet God. This week we will be talking about people in the Bible who had to prepare for challenges.
