In the book of Genesis God closed the womb’s of Abimelech’s house. Abraham prayed and they were healed. Why did God make those women infertile?

They were made infertile because Abimlech unknowingly took Sarah as his wife. He did not know she was Abraham’s wife.

The dog and I are visiting Mom while my roommate remains in rehab. In his honor we are going to have a week of questions on Bible healing in the Old Testament. The healing miracles must have been amazing to people of those times. Diseases came for no apparent reason and Medical people knew little about how to cure those diseases. Though Jesus was well known for this healing it did not start with him. From the earliest days of the Bible God has shown his power over disease. The good news today is that we can still ask God for a miracle.
