Hello,
Well the week went well. Mom’s surgery was successful. We had a nice week visiting. I even spent a night playing trivia on my nephews trivia team. We didn’t win but we were competitive. It was a fun night.
Also thanks to all the folks coming to the site. I’m so thankful for all of your visits. With God’s help I’ll do my best to keep it interesting.
Since it was another week of care giving, this weeks topic will be healing miracles done by Jesus. If we could time travel back in time and space to the Roman backwater of Palestine and see a preacher named Jesus. One of the things you would see would be many sick people. Medical care in those days was horrible, medicine as we know it today did not start till the 19th century. A prophecy of the Messiah was that he would heal the sick and restore sight to the blind. This was in Isiah 35:5-6 and other places. Jesus fulfilled that prophecy by healing many people. It is important to remember that only a small amount of his miracles were recorded in the gospels, John 21:25 says many more miracles were done.

Thanks so much for reading and have a good day at church.
