They were not to follow any interpreter of dreams who told them to follow other gods. This was the clear mark of a false prophet. They were to be put to death.

Hello
Well it’s my birthday this week I’ll qualify for Social Security this year thought I won’t be taking it just yet. Having fun this weekend our church went to the Kane County Cougars game for faith night. It was a fun evening well worth the cost. Tonight I’m with my Mom and decided to grill supper while things were cooking I set the table while she watched Lawrence Welk. After the show was over she came to to dinner and a set table. Note for the kids even 87 year old mommies like it what you set the table. Tomorrow we go to her church picnic.
This week it’s a Midsummer’s Night Bible Dream. God often communicated to prophets through dreams. Joseph and Daniel were notable dream interpreters. So this week we will spend a week on dreams throughout the Bible.
The Picture is: Joseph interprets Pharaoh’s Dream. by James Tissot. Date 1890’s From Wikimedia commons.
Thanks so much for reading and have a good day at church.

Daniel never forgot his people. In Chapter 9 he prayed for the Jews to be restored to their homeland. Why did he wait so long?
He studied the Book of Jeremiah and knew that God promised to restore the Kingdom after 70 years. He prayed fervently for this though there is no evidence he ever returned to Judah

The handwriting on the wall is another story of Daniel that everybody knows. What exactly did the hand write on the wall?
MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. The translation is: God has numbered your Kingdom and finished it. You have been weighed in the balance and found wanting. Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians. This happened the same night.
