When King  Solomon built the temple he had many workers.   Hiram was one of his key workers.  What type of work did did Hiram do on the temple?

Hiram was a metal worker.  Due to his skill he made  all the brass furnishings for the Temple.  According to the Bible he was cunning in all works of brass(bronze).  Therefore King Solomon sought him out

When the Philistines ruled Israel they banned a specific trade. What trade did they ban?

The Philistines did not allow smiths (blacksmiths). The Philistines were afraid the smiths would make weapons in addition to their other work.

When Amos received the call of God to become a prophet what was his job?

Amos was a shepherd when God called him.  At that time prophets usually came from the house(school) of the prophets.

Falling into disrepair the temple needed repairs.  King Joash saw this and did the repairs. How did he pay the workers while they were doing the repairs?

People brought the tithes and offerings to a chest at the temple door.   Then King Joash and Jehoiada the Priest would distribute the money.

God told  Jeremiah to go to a tradesman’s house.  God would give him  a word when he got there.  What type of work did the tradesman do?

Jeremiah  went to the potter’s house and while there he watched him make pottery.  While watching the potter God spoke to him.  God told Jeremiah the nation of Israel was like the clay in the potter’s hand.   God would mold Israel just like the potter molded the clay.
