They Celebrated the Feast of Booths also known as Sukkot.  The reason they did this is that was the next feast due in the Jewish calendar.

Hilkiah the High Priest discovered the Book of the Law then sent it to the King.  This happened while repairs were being done to the temple.

October 28 is Reformation Sunday the actual day is October 31. Since this is the 500th anniversary people will be mentioning it a bit more. The sad truth is, that we needed reformation then and still need it today. People tend to go astray we often see the right path but take the wrong one instead. This has happened since the Fall of Man in Genesis 3. Since that time man has often required correction to keep following God. This week we are going to take times from the Bible when God’s people got off the correct path and were brought back to it by our merciful God. That’s one reason I so strongly believe in individual Bible Study we all need to know God’s word so that we can stay on the correct path.
