Job had his life destroyed by a   contest between God and Satan.  How did God make it up to Job again in the light of  Job passing the tests

King David also had plenty of reason to be wonder about God.  Enemies attacked and plundered his base at Ziklag.  When his men saw it they were getting ready to stone him.   But God came through, what did God allow David to do?

God told David to pursue the raiders.   He did pursue them and recovered his equipment, the wives and children taken.   He also took all the raiders equipment and defeated them.

Joseph had every reason to be mad a God. His Brothers sold him into slavery.  His Master’s wife falsely accused him. He also helped people even in prison and they forgot  about him. Yet indeed God a had a plan, what did he do to help Joseph out of his troubles?

Pharaoh had a dream that could not be interpreted, then his butler remembered Joseph. Joseph interpreted the dream and  as a result was given charge of all of Egypt. He then was restored not only in Egypt but his family was restored to him as well.

Things were looking especially bad for Abraham. God had asked him to sacrifice his only son Isaac to show his faith.  What did God do to help Abraham?

The Angel of the Lord stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son.  God also provided a Ram for the sacrifice.

Hello

One of the things about being a Christian is that you are asked a lot of God questions. A person I know is going through a rough stretch in their life. They asked me “Does God hate me?” It’s a fair question and things may seem that way but God does not hate you. But you must realize that just because God loves you that does not mean that your life will be perfect. Christians and seekers will also have troubles just like everybody else. We have to understand that we sometimes have to go through uncomfortable times. We know from the bible that God will not give us more that we can take. 1 Cor 10:13 if you are wondering. But the bad news is that you can bear a lot more, than you think you can.

So this week we are going to look at people in the Bible who are in a bad way and then God comes through.
