Hello,

This week we are going to cover Elisha. Since he followed Elijah as prophet of Israel.  He also had an eventful career.   Elisha fought to end worship of false gods.  Also he tried to help a people who strayed from God often.  But through it all he followed in Elijah’s footsteps showing the way to God and heaven.

Also this week I found  that the Google+ site is down.   I am working on it.

Apparently the Kings of Israel never learned to treat Elijah with respect as a prophet of God.  As a result King Ahaziah lost 100 soldiers trying to do something to Elijah. What was the King trying to do?

King Ahaziah sent his soldiers to take Elijah into custody and bring him to the King. Finally, the third Captain approached Elijah with respect and also deference. Elijah then went with him to see the King.
