Good thing I took it easy last weekend the week was very busy. We had meetings at work and my friend died. RIP Pastor Bob you were an amazing servant of God. There were a few other things to keep me busy as well. Last night the only thoughts I could string together were bed, sleep, now.
This week we are going to talk about addictions. In the Bible this generally means wine. They did have other alcoholic beverages which may have been referred to as strong drink. This one is personal for me. There are several people in my close family and circle of friends who have suffered from addiction problems. This sin continues to plague us destroying people and families in it’s wake. For me the most effective way to deal with this is God through church addiction ministries. But don’t discount the power of prayer and going to church. God’s mercy and grace has put a lot of lives back together.
