Hello,
Hello all, it has been a busy day. I’ve been helping folks out today and have not had a chance to write before 10:00 PM. Also I have a young friend visiting. We have known him and his father for many years and since my wife and I had no children he is treated like a son around here. He interns at an inner city mission and comes out for a monthly break. He came along and helped today. So time to write fast and hope for the best.
We are starting a new series. One of the questions I have been asked is how can I base my life on an old book. It is true that the Bible is an old book and was written in a different time. But the Bible talks about people and to though a lot of things have changed people are still the same. We are going to talk about that for the next few weeks by talking about different sins. This week is murder. Murder was among the earliest sins and as my young friend said “it’s still with us.”
Thanks for the comments and questions. I always enjoy them because it means people are reading.

I too am a publican. Jesus then came to dinner at my house. He changed me and there was nothing small about my repentance. Who am I?
I am Zacchaeus. I climbed a tree to see Jesus because I was short. He saw me and had dinner at my house.
