Hello,

I’ve been bit by the dog days of summer. Between work, church, and personal life I was exhausted yesterday. Still pretty tired today but time to move on.

This week we are going to talk about is theft. Theft was a common problem in the ancient world. Penalties varied widely being anything from paying it back with a penalty added, to death. Also depending on who was doing the taking there might not be a penalty at all. In ancient times “might made right” when it came to justice.
