We know that lying even takes place in church as part of Satan’s opposition to God. What did the Apostle John say to do with the spirits in our lives?

We are to test the spirits. This is to be sure that they are from God.

Potiphar’s wife accused Joseph after she failed to seduce him. The Bible does not give her name.  But some authorities say her name is Zuleikha.

Hello,

A hot but bearable summer day. I was busy outside cleaning out the car. Also visited with friends over brunch and dinner.

The topic for this week is lying. Lying and sin seem to go hand in hand but you can also make lying a sin on it’s own by bearing false witness. People lie and sadly it often causes more trouble than the truth.
