We were only two out of twelve but we stood for God. He rewarded us though it took a long time. Who are we?

We are Joshua and Caleb. Two out of the 12 spies who told the people that we could conquer the land with God’s help. We were the only two who actually conquered the land after 40 years.

I stood up to the Sanhedrin telling them that if they were not careful they might find themselves against God. Who is this person?

This is Gamaliel a pharisee and teacher of Paul. He told the Sanhedrin that if this were a work of men it would die. Otherwise it was a work of God.
