Daniel had a long history of doing the right thing. It started when he would not eat the the King’s food. He asked the official over him and also his friends to give them a trial and compare their appearance to the others. How many days did the trial last?

Daniel asked for a ten day trial. At the end of the trial Daniel and his friends had no ill effects and indeed looked better than those who ate the King’s food.

Hello,

Winter is coming. I pulled out the air conditioners today they are stored in the garage until summer. It’s getting harder to pull them every year but so far I’ve managed. I do take a few more breaks now. But the house is buttoned up now. Leaves are changing color and will be falling shortly. The only thing I have to do is get the snow blower ready and then the house is ready for winter. It will be nice having a snow blower this year if the snow gets rough. Not much else to say as things are just busy.

The topic this week came about due to talking with a friend. They were a bit surprised that I insisted on doing the right thing. I told them that is who I am. Thankfully they understood. But it’s not always easy doing the right thing it’s often challenging. Lets look at some Bible stories of this.
