In the parable of the talents why was the master furious with the servant who buried the talent?

He was furious because the man did nothing with it. At a minimum he should have put in in the bank where his master could have received usury(interest) on the money.

It’s been a difficult week. I have gone to my third funeral this week. There has not been a natural disaster. Just a bunch of people I know passing into heaven. Otherwise spring appears to be coming and none too soon for me.

The topic this week is lending. Lending has a very old history and the bible has many examples of it. Also rules for it.
