He told them that unless their righteousness exceeded the scrupulous law keeping of the Pharisees they could not enter heaven. The Pharisees relied on law keeping for salvation instead of God’s grace and mercy.

Busy Sunday did a bit of Uber after church and dinner. Now getting done and then bed.

This season of Lent let’s take a look at some of the enemies of Jesus. This week let’s look at the Pharisees. These men should have recognized Jesus from their Bible(Tanakh) studies. Yet they did not and indeed opposed him throughout his ministry.
