Jahaziel the son of Zechariah was the prophet who spoke. God fulfilled the prophecy the next day.

Well another busy weekend I am getting used to the new church. I went to a social and had a nice time. Making friends and getting recognized at church.

Today is Pentecost Sunday next week begins Sundays after Pentecost or Ordinary time. This is a good time for those multi week series sermons. But this week we are going to talk about the Holy Spirit.

If a husband accused his wife of not being a virgin a trial was held. If she was found to be a virgin the husband could never divorce her. He also had to pay a fine to her father. How much was the fine?

The fine was 100 shekels of silver. False accusation was considered defaming a virgin of Israel.
