Hello,
Happy Memorial day. Say a prayer for those veterans and those who serve today. Especially bless the families of the fallen.
I went to a Bible Study Saturday and they were talking about how to pray. This is a topic that I have two minds on. I do agree that we need to improve our Christian lives of service. But I worry as well that people are looking for the words and attitudes to compel God. When we pray we are not giving an order at the drive through. We are asking the creator and ruler of the universe for his favor. In the end it is up to God to decide about our requests. This week we are going to look at a number of examples where God said no.
Thanks for the comments and questions. I always enjoy them because it means people are reading.
